Batch casting

As batch cast method in which is casting technique referred to, in which identical shapes prior to casting are stacked vertically.

Are used here lost molds as sand molds or mask shapes , often in conjunction with automatic molding lines . The individual forms are stacked vertically and pressed together mechanically or pneumatically . A common connection channel ensures that the metal is distributed. In the lowest form of the stack, this channel is closed with a plug.

The advantage of stack casting is the large number of cast parts that can be produced with one casting. Stack casting is therefore primarily used in series production.
