Starzplay is a streaming media platform of the company Lionsgate and an offshoot of the television station Starz , which is mainly active outside the USA in countries such as Great Britain and German-speaking countries.
history
Starzplay started in German-speaking countries and Great Britain in May 2018 as an international offshoot of the US pay-TV provider Starz and was initially only available via Amazon Prime Channels as an additional subscription service. About a year later, since May 2019, the offer can also be used via Apple TV . Since the end of November 2019, the offer has also been available as a stand-alone app for iOS and Android , without the need for an additional service provider (Amazon or Apple) as before.
