Stand rod

Stand rods are part of the typical equipment of a chemical , physical or biological laboratory. These are mostly 10-15 mm thick stainless steel rods . In some cases, plastic rods are also used. They can be screwed together to form larger equipment frames with the help of double sleeves or hook sleeves.

The term is also used for film and photo stands as well as microphone stands .
