Double socket

Double sleeves in classic construction made of stainless steel

A double socket is a typical laboratory device . It is made of metal and is usually used to screw two stand rods at right angles to each other. Double sleeves are therefore often used for the construction of larger equipment in laboratories.

The double cross socket allows both screw connections at right angles and screw connections parallel to one another.

The double joint sleeve with two swivel joints can be firmly locked with large wing screws and is used for fastening in every angle and every level.

Further meaning

Double socket is also the name of a connection piece between two pipe ends. It is used z. B. in pipeline construction , as a fitting , or in drive technology (see also socket ).
