Statue Menhir U Nativu
The statue menhir U Nativu (also de Nativu) stands under a protective roof in a park in the village of Patrimonio, in the Haute-Corse department on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica .
The statue menhir , which was found in nearby Barbaggio in 1964, is about 2.3 m high and one of the few Corsican menhirs made of limestone . He is in the 1st millennium BC. And belongs to the unarmed northern group of the Megalithic III . The menhir has raised shoulders, a mask-like face with ears and chin. There is an engraved groove in place of the sternum.
