steadyPRINT is software for managing print environments. The manufacturer is the K-iS Systemhaus Group , a software developer in Siegen .

function

steadyPRINT is a tool for the central and clear management of all printer administration tasks. Since the first version 1.2.0 in 2006, four functional areas can be distinguished. The central management of print environments, the fail- safe & migration of print servers , monitoring & reporting as well as the virtual printer driver steadyPRINT VPD (Virtual Printer Driver) , with which network printers can be provided without native printer drivers .

Licensing

Every print server that is to be managed with steadyPRINT is licensed with steadyPRINT server licenses . On the user side, the steadyPRINT Windows CAL is mandatory for all users ; all other user licenses are optional and contain one or more printer assignment types. In addition, a subscription (service & support) is required for all licenses . In addition, a steadyPRINT server license for SMB is offered.

compatibility

steadyPRINT is Windows Server 2019 certified and tested by Microsoft for Windows 10 compatibility. SteadyPRINT is also Citrix Ready certified and offers an addition to Citrix solutions for mobility , virtualization , network and cloud platforms.

steadyPRINT has been awarded the IT innovation prize several times by the SME Initiative.
