Steengaden Hückeswagen

The Steengaden Hückeswagen is a fortified residential tower in Hückeswagen . It is located on the street Am Marktberg near the junction with the Islandstraße .

It was one of the fortifications of the castle (today Schloss Hückeswagen ) and in the Middle Ages served as the seat of the Hückeswagen ministers. He later became a pastor of the Reformed Church. It has been a private residence on Islandstrasse since the 19th century. It is a stop on the old town tour in Hückeswagen.
