Stefan Habermeier

Stefan Habermeier (born February 26, 1960 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German legal scholar and currently holds a professorship at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald .

Habermeier studied law in Saarbrücken from 1979 to 1984 . There he also received his doctorate in 1988. jur. From 1991 to 1998 he worked as a research assistant at the chair for civil law, commercial and commercial law and international private law at Michael Martinek , interrupted from 1993 to 1995 by a grant from the German Research Foundation . In 1996, he completed his habilitation in civil law, commercial and business law, international private law and civil procedure law in Saarbrücken . Habermeier has held a chair in Greifswald since September 24, 1998.

Habermeier is a member of the Society for Comparative Law , the Scientific Association for International Procedural Law, the German EDP Court Conference, the German University Association and the Saarbrücken Legal Forum.
