Manteling
The Manteling ( Dutch de Manteling ) is a nature and cultural area that protects the hinterland of northwest Walcheren against the sea wind. This transition area extends over 200 hectares. It includes pristine land , forest , dunes and beach . The area is known for its flora and fauna . Some estates were restored in 1995 as part of a recultivation project.
