Stefan Köhler (* 1981 ) is a former German football player .

career

The 1.96 meter long defensive player initially belonged to the Braunschweig Lions squad from 2003 to 2008 . With the Lower Saxony he won the Eurobowl in 2003 and the German championship in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Also in 2003 and 2004 Köhler reached the final of the German championship with Braunschweig, but lost in both cases with his team. With the German national team he won the bronze medal at the 2007 World Cup.

For the 2009 season Köhler joined the regional division Weyhe Vikings . In 2011 he was back on the Braunschweig Lions team.
