Stefan Mair (cyclist)

Stefan Mair (born June 2, 1990 ) is an Austrian road cyclist .

In 2008, Stefan Mair won one stage in the junior class at the Giro del Friuli Occidentale , two stages and the overall ranking at the International Junior Cycling Tour in Upper Austria , as well as the overall ranking at the Giro della Lunigiana . From 2009 to 2011 he drove for the Austrian Tyrol Team . At the state championships in 2009 he was second in the U23 mountain championship and fifth in the individual time trial of the elite class. In 2011 he finished fourth in the mountain championship and thus won the U23 class. This victory in the U23 classification was revoked on June 27, 2013 by the National Anti-Doping Agency for violating the anti-doping regulations by using the prohibited substance Prednisone, Prednisolone (S9 of the WADA Prohibited List) and blocked for two years until June 26, 2015.
