Stefan Schreiner

Stefan Schreiner (* 1947 ) is a religious scholar .

Life

He studied Protestant theology, Arabic studies , Islamic studies and Jewish studies (dissertation in 1974 at the University of Halle-Wittenberg : particularism or universalism? Exegetical studies on the books of the prophets Joel - Obadja - Malachi - Jona ). Since 1992 he has taught as professor for religious studies (with a focus on Islam) and Jewish studies and director of the Institutum Judaicum at the University of Tübingen .
