Career

After graduating from high school, he studied economics in Clausthal-Zellerfeld . He was there again at the next World Championships in 2019 and also achieved 4th place in the 4 × 2.5 km mixed relay cross-country skiing. The year before that, in 2018, he took part in the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games . Here he reached 3rd place with the German mixed relay over 4 × 2.5 km and won a bronze medal. He also finished fifth in the 12.5 km biathlon.

For winning the bronze medal, he was awarded the silver bay leaf on June 7, 2018 .
