Steffen Reinsch (born March 30, 1985 ) is a former German volleyball player .

Career

Reinsch began his career in 1999 with the Coburger Turnerschaft 1861 e. V. With the merger of the volleyball departments of the Coburg Turnerschaft 1861 e. V. and TSV Grub am Forst, Reinsch switched to the newly founded VSG Coburg / Grub in 2001 .

At the age of 15, Reinsch played his first official senior game and celebrated several championship titles with his teams up to promotion to the state league. After the league was realized with the second men's team of VSG Coburg / Grub , the nomination for the first men's team that played in the Bavarian League took place. In the second season with the Bayern league team, he was promoted to the regional league and three years later was promoted to the 2nd volleyball Bundesliga .

In the second season in Germany's second highest division, Reinsch was able to celebrate the championship and the associated promotion to the 1st volleyball Bundesliga in April 2013 . After only a few first division appearances, a back injury forced him to end his career on December 7, 2013.

Reinsch went on the hunt for points for VSG Coburg / Grub for a total of 15 years and played for the club in all leagues, from the district league to the Bundesliga. After the end of his active career, he worked as a scout for VSG Coburg / Grub.
