View of the bridge

Today the bridge is only used for pedestrian and bicycle traffic and is located in the area of the village of Glimminge .

Pillar with baffles

It was built from processed natural stones and completed in 1818. Three stone arches were created, the pillars of which are pointed in the upstream direction in order to protect the bridge piers from damage in the event of flooding or ice.

The railings are made of hewn stone blocks that support a structure with iron pipes.

The abbreviation INS 1870 , which refers to the builder, has been preserved on the bridge .

In 1977 the bridge was reinforced with reinforced concrete.

In 2003 the bridge from Riksantikvarieämbetet was added to the list of monuments.
