Dromod stone circle

The Dromod stone circle, almost overgrown by the vegetation, stands north of Lough Currane in the townland of Dromod ( Irish An Dromaid ) in the south of County Kerry in Ireland .

Some stones fell over. It seems to be one of the multiple stone circles (according to Seán Ó Nualláin also Axial Stone Circle - axial stone circle - ASC). The low stone (in the middle) is the axial stone with two flank stones. In the hedge to the north, is an outlier ( English outlier ).

Nearby are the Dromkeare Stone Row and the Dromkeare Ogham Stone .
