The stone circle of Faskally Cottages is on private land, directly on the A924 northwest of Pitlochry ( Scottish Gaelic Baile Chloichridh - German  "City of the Guardian Stone " ) in Perth and Kinross in Scotland .

The excavation report states: In a narrow strip between the railway line and the main road there is a garden and in it there are seven stones of the circle of very different heights in situ . The stone circle made of eight stones has a diameter of about 6.5 m, which is graded towards the southwest side of the circle in the direction of the primary stone. It was split into three pieces at some point in the past, each standing upright. According to legend, this was caused by a lightning strike, more likely it was frost damage. The small circle is supposed to form the center of Scotland.

Nearby are a number of other stone circles and the Dunfallandy Stone .
