The stone circle of Gowlane North is located in the townland of the same name ( Irish An Gabhlán Thuaidh ) about 3.2 km north of Donoughmore, southwest of Mallow in County Cork in Ireland .

It is a perfect circle of eight preserved stones up to 1.0 m high and about 7.0 m in diameter (2 stones have fallen over and at least 4 stones are missing). Two are only about 90 cm apart and form the entrance to the north. Another radially arranged pair stands outside the circle, a little further apart. The approximately 2.1 m long entrance passage faces a large axial stone 1.5 × 0.9 m on the other side of the circle.

Nearby is the row of stones at Beenalaght .
