The well-preserved stone circle of Loch Buie (also Lochbuie) stands in the south of the Scottish island of Mull , which belongs to the Inner Hebrides . It is located in the village of Lochbuie, between the shore of the loch (bay) and the road, on the grounds of Lochbuie House. There are several rows of stones and a couple of stone circles on the island of Mull .

The circle originally consisted of nine granite slabs that form a circle about 13.3 m in diameter. The highest stone in the circle is 1.9 m high. The plates are arranged with their broad surfaces to the center of the circle. One of the original stones has recently been replaced by a small boulder. An 1848 report found the circle to lie on a field called the Field of the Druids.

There are several menhirs at different distances from the circle . The next, probably safe belonging to the county outliers ( English outlier ) is about five meters in the south-east and is only three feet tall. The second is a three-meter-high monolith about 40 meters southwest of the circle. The third stone, over two meters high, is also 107 m away in the southwest. It broke off at the top and was originally larger. About 360 m away there is a specimen about 2.0 m high to the north-northwest.

In a group of trees about 100 m northwest of the stone circle lies the remainder of a curb cairn with stone border. It is about 6.5 m in diameter and has a "false" entrance in the southeast. The stones in the north and south arch are largely in situ .
