Farranamanagh Stone Row

The stone row of Farranamanagh ( Irish Fearann na Manach ) is northeast of Kilcrohane on the Mizen Peninsula ( Irish Carn Uí Néid , English Mizen Head ), whose northern finger "Sheep's Head" (or "Muntervary", Irish Rinn Mhuintir Bháire ) is called , in County Cork , Ireland .

Farranamanagh Stone Row is a row of three large plate-like stones, but only the middle one is still upright. Four large cupmarks, one double, are visible on the top of the lying plate in the east.

An alternative explanation for the condition of the stones is that they are the remains of a wedge tomb .

Nearby are the Sweathouse and Menhir of Farranamanagh, the Passage Tomb of Peakean, and the Stone Circle of Gorteanish .
