Styrian Economic Society
The Steirische Volkswirtschaftliche Gesellschaft (STVG) is an educational institution of the Styrian economy and was founded in 1955 in the legal form of an association. Peter Härtel and Michaela Marterer form the management of STVG.
With the focus on "Education and Business", the STVG creates an interface between educational institutions and the business and professional world. The aim of this educational work at the meeting point of the two areas is to contribute to a better understanding of social and economic relationships, trends and developments. Further approaches and goals of the work of the STVG are both the promotion of cooperation and orientation at the transitions between school-based educational pathways, in-company training and professional careers, as well as strengthening the quality of education as a factor in entrepreneurial, economic and social developments.
European cooperations and projects are essential elements of the STVG's activities
The STVG cooperates intensively with the Styrian Chamber of Commerce , the Styrian Federation of Industry and the Styrian Provincial Government .
