Stele by Tünp

The Tünp stele is a Hittite monument in the museum in Gaziantep . It was found in 1965 in Yazılı , then Tünp , south of the Turkish city. The 90 cm high piece is described in four lines with Luwian hieroglyphs . It served as a deed for a sales contract between two private landowners. Presumably it dates from the middle of the 8th century BC. Chr.
