Stenotopia

Under Stenotopie refers to the nature of certain organisms taxa , only a few, clearly defined habitats to live or live to. Its opposite is the so-called eurythmy . More specifically, with regard to individual environmental factors , one also speaks of stenok or euryok species and the corresponding peculiarities of stenokie and euryokie . Of course, stenotopia is usually a consequence of stenocia, since geographical locations are mostly characterized by a combination of specific location factors such as climate, humidity, etc.

However, some types of living beings are particularly eurytopic because they occur all over the world. Such species are called cosmopolitans .
