Stephanas
Stephanas was a Christian in Corinth who is mentioned several times in Paul's first letter to the Corinthians .
He and his housemates were baptized by Paul ( 1 Cor 1:16 ). They were the first believers in Achaia and had placed themselves in the service of the community (1 Cor. 16:15). Stephanas himself was one of the emissaries from Corinth who visited Paul in Ephesus (1 Cor 16:17).
