Der Sternenbote is an Austrian monthly astronomical journal published by the Astronomical Office in Vienna.
It was founded in April 1958 by Adolf Riehs and later continued by Hermann Mucke until his death. The Messenger of the Stars was last published in February 2019 and was officially discontinued in June 2019.
The magazine typically contained articles on the following topics:

- Brief reports, including solar activity
- Ephemeris of current comets etc.

- Calendar
- Book presentations
- Event information
The monthly was published in A5 format and consisted of folded, unstapled sheets of paper in a blue envelope. The authors of the main articles now include numerous amateur astronomers and scientists in the field of “Heaven and Space”.
