Control concept

A control concept describes a plan for implementation in special machine construction . The control concept is required for the control technology . It describes the complete electrical structure of a special machine in order to carry out planning , ordering and PLC programming.

Elements of a control concept

Although special machines are custom-made, the following are usually required:

• PLC controls
• Control cabinet as a place for the PLC, but mainly for the energy supply.
• IT hardware that is intended to be integrated into production control and enables programming that is remote from the machine.
• Electric drives , which are essential for the functionality and energy efficiency of the machine.
• Occupational safety . has to be considered and shown more often during the planning of special machines.

In the case of special machines , the reference to the mechanical conditions of mechanical engineering can be expanded to include the spatial requirements of their application.
