Cigars from two polo wallets

A stick used to propel the ball in polo is called a stick or mallet . It is classically made from bamboo . But there are also sticks made of willow wood or "modern" clubs made of glass fiber reinforced plastic .

The stick ends at the lower end with a club head, which is also called a "cigar". The length of the racket is between 48 and 54 inches (120 and 137 cm) and is indicated on the cigar of the racket. The club head can vary in shape and weight and weighs between 160 and 250 g. It is slightly angled towards the handle so that when you hit the ball you hit the ball parallel to the ground.

Usually the owner's initials are put on the cigar to avoid confusion.

The stick is only operated with the right hand - even left-handed people.
