Technical Relief Foundation (THW) - Technical Help Worldwide
The Stiftung Technisches Hilfswerk ( THW ) - Technisch Helfen Weltweit (short: THW Foundation) is a recognized non-profit foundation that was founded in 2004 by the THW-Bundesvereinigung eV and in close agreement with the competent supervisory authority of the technical aid organization.
The foundation exclusively supports projects of the THW, the THW Helfervereinigung and the THW local associations. Projects for technical assistance or reconstruction with an international dimension receive special support, such as B. the use of the THW after the earthquake in the Indian Ocean in 2004 or Hurricane Katrina in the USA.
