Time for People Foundation

The Time for People Foundation was founded in April 2004 on the initiative of the Samaritan Foundation by 43 representatives from politics, business and society. As of 2017, the foundation is supported by around 300 donors, around 70 committed people from business, politics and citizenship have voluntary management responsibility on the foundation board and the local subsidiary foundations.

The foundation aims to create additional time for old, handicapped and sick people in the local communities by stimulating, developing and supporting voluntary work. It organizes and initiates civic engagement, supports the training, guidance and accompaniment of volunteers and develops new forms of volunteer engagement, for example projects with company employees. It organizes conferences and contributes to the development of civil society through events on social issues.

The foundation is based in Nürtingen .
