The Stollfuß Medien GmbH & Co. KG is a specialist publisher based in Bonn . He publishes periodicals and specialist literature in the fields of tax and business law .

Company history

The company was founded in 1913 by Wilhelm Stollfuß as a publisher for travel guides and hiking maps. In 1923 the first tax tables and instructions for tax declarations were published by Stollfuß Verlag. Under the direction of Erich Stollfuß, son of the publisher's founder, the company turned increasingly to the publication of specialist tax literature. After the Second World War , the development was favored by the fact that Bonn became the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany . In the 1950s, the publishing house took over the Bonn university printing company. After the death of their father, his sons Wolfgang and Michael Stollfuß took over the publishing house in 1974 and restructured the company into a pure specialist publisher; travel literature was no longer published. A service company for publishing software was created with the service provider dataprint, followed in 1997 by Stotax GmbH & Co. KG, a provider of tax consultancy software. In 2008, the publishing house and the two service companies were merged into Stollfuß Medien GmbH & Co. KG.
