Stomil Olsztyn SA was a Polish tire manufacturer based in Olsztyn . The company emerged in 1992 from the transformation of the state-owned tire manufacturer OZOS "Stomil", founded in 1967. In 1995 it was majority bought by Michelin . From 1995 to May 28, 2004 the company was listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In 2005 it became part of the Michelin group with the name Michelin Polska SA . With around 4,000 employees, it is one of the largest Michelin plants and the largest tire factory in Poland.
