Story slam

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A storyslam (for mutatis mutandis in English: History contest ) is a similar to a poetry slam , live out transmitted contest, in which the speakers tell stories free. These are often true stories and there is a time limit of around five to ten minutes. One of the first successful story slams is The Moth , which was first held in New York in 1997 by the poet and writer George Dawes Green. Story slams are now also held outside the USA, for example in Germany in Siegen and Aachen .
