Sträusschen is a waltz by Johann Strauss Sohn ( op.15 ). The work was created in 1845 and was premiered on July 20 of the same year on the occasion of the reopening of the renovated Goldener Strauss ballroom in the building of the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna . The specified spelling of the title corresponds to the original naming.

Remarks

The work was created against the background of the competition between Johann Strauss 'father and Johann Strauss' son. The latter was also able to collect points from the audience with this waltz. Like most of the early waltz king's works , they were soon forgotten. Today they are still occasionally performed at various concerts (especially New Year's concerts). The playing time of the bouquet is about 10 minutes and 45 seconds plus or minus a few seconds depending on the musical conception of the respective conductor.
