The beach (also: Strandley ) is a creek in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park . The priel belongs to a channel system with Norderhever , Rummelloch and Süderaue north of Eiderstedt between the Hamburg Hallig and Hallig Gröde .

The beach is the most important creek in the coastal area of ​​the Norderhever. There are also Butterloch, Bensley and Rummelloch. The beach connects the two large tidal streams of Norderhever and Süderaue. Per tide, 81 million m³ of water pass from the Norderhever over the Priel into the Süderaue. Its maximum depth is about 18 meters.
