Strapaten (also written Strappaten , from Italian strappare: to tear away) are bands used in aerial acrobatics that are attached to or close to the ceiling. There is often a loop at the bottom to hang arms or legs. Depending on the straps, various acrobatic performances are performed, e.g. B. Twists or Falls. Similar exercises are also possible with other equipment, such as a trapeze , vertical cloth or vertical rope.
