Strategically advising CDA
The Strategisch beraad CDA ( German Strategierat des CDA ) is an advisory body of the Christen-Democratisch Appèl (CDA) to support decisions. The council was set up in 2011 after the election defeat in mid-2010 and internal disagreements over subsequent government participation. The council should provide impetus for a new course for the next 10 to 15 years.
Chairman of the council, which was set up at the request of the last CDA congress and the new CDA chairman Ruth Peetoom , has been Aart Jan de Geus since September 2, 2011 .
On January 20, 2012, the Board of Directors presented proposals for a new course for the CDA under the title “Select and Connect - Political Vision from the Radical Center”.
