Ruth Peetoom

Ruth Peetoom (born July 25, 1967 in Breda ) is a Dutch evangelical pastor and politician of the Christian Democratisch Appèl (CDA).

Life

Ruth Peetoom studied Protestant theology and ethics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam . She works as a pastor in the Protestant Church in the Netherlands in Utrecht. Since 2011, Peetoom has succeeded Liesbeth Spies as party leader of the Christian Democratisch Appèl. Peetoom is married to the CDA politician René Paas and lives in Utrecht .
