Streep was a Dutch measure of length, stands for line and millimeter , and has been a legal measure since March 29, 1817.

1 streep = 2/5 Parisian line = 1 millimeter
10 Streep = 1 Duim / Thumb ( centimeter ) = 4 3/7 Parisian lines = 0.01 meters
100 Streep = 1 Palm = 4 13/40 Parisian Lines = 0.1 meters
