Stretch is a US semiconductor manufacturer with headquarters in Fremont, California and offices in Japan and Germany. The company was founded in March 2002 as a startup company and developed a configurable processor and the associated development tools. Since then, Stretch has been manufacturing the S5000 processor series itself. In 2007 the successor series S6000 was presented.

Stretch's processors are software configurable so that some parts of the processor can be programmed like an FPGA at runtime . Software for the two processor series is programmed in the common programming languages C and C ++ .

Since 2008, multi-channel video grabbers and DVR cards have also been produced and sold under their own name, some of which are based on the company's own processor series.
