Scatter advertising

As stray advertising or litter campaign is called advertising on relatively small and low-cost advertising materials , such as promotional items such as lighters or pens, which are often given away. They are not limited to one medium such as the press or television, but are widely distributed (everywhere or among a large audience) and thus increase the awareness of the advertised product on a broad basis. The target audience should come across the product or brand name in all areas of life. The distributed articles are also referred to as giveaways or give-away.

Scattered advertising is often used in the form of campaigns at events such as trade fairs and carnival parades as well as in the field .

The proportion of giveaways used in company customer communication is very high compared to other promotional items .
