Dash (recruit measure)

The line was an Austrian measure of length and a measure of recruits. Until the end of 1875 the measure was a legal measure in Austria-Hungary.

  • 1 line = 3 lines (Wiener = 2.195 millimeters ) = ¼ inch (Wiener = 26.34 millimeters) = about 6.585 millimeters
