The Stroński Palace (also known as Stroński Tenement House , Polish: Pałac Strońskiego or Kamienica Andrzeja Strońskiego ) is located on Nowy Świat Street (No. 1) in Warsaw's inner city district and is a classicist , palatial tenement house.

The building on Warsaw's Royal Route was built in the 1780s instead of another building based on a design by Szymon Bogumił Zug for Andrzej Stroński. Jan Gierth, Franciszek Wołoski, Józef Zdzietowicki and the Wołłowicz family later owned the property. In the second half of the 19th century, there were changing shops on the ground floor, for example for wine and spirits, as well as a pastry shop where members of the Warsaw literary and artistic scene, such as Władysław Reymont , Stefan Żeromski , Bolesław , met at the beginning of the 20th century Leśmian , the sculptor Ksawery Dunikowski and the actor Kazimierz Kamiński .

Later there was a stationery shop and a representation of the building materials company Gliński and Hirszberg . During the interwar period, the merchant Salomon Neuman, and the Warsaw Police Headquarters and the editorial staff of the “Zagadnienia Rasy” magazine were located on the upper floors.

The three-story, listed building was destroyed during the fighting of the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 and rebuilt in 1948 - as part of the reconstruction of Nowy Świat - according to a design by Stanisław Marzyński. Today there are offices and a restaurant on the ground floor.
