The Thatched House Museum ( English Thatched House Museum , The Traditional Tristan House Museum or Tristan Traditional Thatched House Museum ) has been the second local museum of Tristan da Cunha , an equal part of the British overseas territory of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha , since 2012 . It is maintained by the island's government and is not far from the capital, Edinburgh of the Seven Seas .
