Current efficiency

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The current yield means:

  • In electrochemistry - including electrolysis technology and electroplating - the portion of the current or charge that leads to the desired reaction, see current yield .
  • For power plants including wind or solar systems:
    • The yield of electrical energy (in kWh or MWh) of the system
    • The electrical energy in relation to the primary energy, see degree of utilization
    • The energy relative to the theoretical yield of the system. This depends on the workload. Full load hours are used to summarize these with a parameter .
