Studienwerk Sudan
The association Studienwerk Sudan eV was founded in 2002 by Christiane Falge with the aim of promoting education in the form of scholarships in Ethiopia and Sudan . The seat of the association is in Halle (Saale) .
The project wants to contribute to the training of Sudanese refugees in order to increase the capacity of local skilled workers in Sudan and Ethiopia. Scholarship holders are funded who feel responsible for disadvantaged sections of the population and who are motivated to promote socially integrative development. The funding enables Sudanese refugees to study at a university or to train in a craft profession in Ethiopia through financial and non-material support.
The association is recognized as a non-profit organization. The members are composed of Germans and Ethiopians.
