Student representation from all vocational academies in Baden-Württemberg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The student representatives of all vocational academies in Baden-Württemberg (SaBB) represented the interests of all vocational academy students in the state of Baden-Württemberg . Each BA sent students from various disciplines who emerged from the respective student representatives to the SaBB . For its part, the SaBB elected the student representatives for the Board of Trustees and the individual specialist committees for economics, technology and social affairs. In the specialist committees, general guidelines for training at the BA in the various disciplines (e.g. curriculum changes) were drawn up and passed on to the Board of Trustees for resolution. SaBB meetings took place every three months at one of the nine BA locations and lasted over two days.

On March 1, 2009, all vocational academies were converted to the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University . Since then, the student representation (DHBW) has taken over the statutory student representation in the form of the StuVs at the individual locations and nationally in the form of the AStA. The SaBB was taken over at the same time as the conversion to a university in the new AStA.
