Substance theory

The substance theory is a theory to determine whether the expropriation, a subjective component in the theft , is present. It is based on whether the perpetrator had the intention to permanently withdraw the property from the owner at the time it was taken away . It does not depend on financial loss. Therefore, today a second theory is taken to hand that tries to close any gaps that may not be punished: the so-called material value theory .
