Sudoku Rubik's Cube

A twisted Sudoku Rubik's Cube.

The Sudoku Cube is a combination of the well-known since the 1980s Rubik's Cube (also known as Rubik's Cube) and a Sudoku -Rätsel.

function

The six sides of the cube do not simply consist of different colored fields, but show, similar to a Sudoku, the digits from 1 to 9 in nine partial squares. Otherwise, the Sudoku Rubik's Cube works just like the conventional Rubik's Cube. The particular difficulty is that - as with the colors - you cannot immediately see which fields belong together. It is therefore not easy to keep an overview when turning and adjusting the cube. Another difficulty arises from the fact that the numbers indicate the orientation of the middle pieces, which is an additional complication when loosening them, which one does not have to consider with conventional Rubik's cube.

history

The cube was developed by the American Jay Horowitz in 2006. He presented the cube at the New York International Toy Fair .
