Sue Johnson

Sue Johnson (born December 19, 1947 ) is a psychologist and the founder of Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) . She has a professorship at the University of Ottawa in Canada and one at Alliant University in San Diego (USA). She heads the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT), which trains in couples therapy. She also heads the Ottawa Couple and Family Institute.
