Jörg Voit von Rieneck , also Jörg Veit von Rieneck , († February 25, 1467 ) was an official of the cathedral chapter in Würzburg .
Little is known about the life of the knight from the Voit von Rieneck family . There is a magnificent epitaph in his honor in the Catholic parish church of St. Andreas in Karlstadt . The life-size figure at the passage to the Rieneck Chapel shows him standing on a lion. The lion holds a coat of arms in its claws. The knight, dressed in plate armor and basin hood , holds the battle flag in his right hand and his sword in his left hand.
